I love making beautiful, strong, and unique leads. While most of my customers purchase leads for their show dogs, many choose a custom lead for their small pet dog or for the obedience or rally ring.
I do custom orders and am happy to collaborate with customers to create the perfect lead for their perfect dog! I also generally have several ready-made leads available as well.
My leads are made from high-quality kangaroo leather which I cut, bevel, stretch, condition, and preserve throughout the process of creating each lead.
Many of my leads feature beautiful, handmade glass beads which I purchase directly from the artists who make them. I also enjoy creating designs to celebrate a dog’s name or personality. Bead types, leather colors, and other options can be a collaboration.
If you want a collar or an “all in one” with a built-in slip collar, a martingale or a resco style loop, I can do that too!
Turnaround time is generally 1 to 2 weeks.

39″ – 48″ = $100
Over 48″ $2.50 per inch
Add collar $20
Lead with no beads $1.75 per inch
SHIPPING
Leads are shipped via USPS. US shipping is $7 which includes insurance. For international shipping, the actual price is calculated when you order.
