My Journey From Dog Lover to Professional Handler and Podcaster
I recently joined The Creative Impostor podcast to share my journey from childhood dog enthusiast to professional handler, breeder, and podcaster. Growing up in Oregon surrounded by dogs and the outdoors, I discovered early on that my passion for animals would shape my life.
Over the years, I trained and showed dogs professionally for 25 years, helping owners achieve their dreams while working closely with extraordinary animals. In 2016, I launched Pure Dog Talk to share factual, experience-based advice about dog care, breeding, and training. Later, I partnered with Dr. Marty Greer to create The Marty and Laura Show, bringing veterinary knowledge and practical tips to everyday pet owners.
Podcasting allows me to reach thousands of dog lovers, breeders, and pet owners, helping them make informed choices and connect more deeply with their animals.
